Midweek Mish-Mash

I had intended to post a weekend recap the past 2 nights but didn't get it done, so here we are Wednesday...thank goodness we are on the downhill slope of another week!
Last Friday night we hung out on the patio @ Blake's parents house. They cooked out hamburgers, I drank wine, & enjoyed the evening outside with our sweet family!
On Saturday, Blake & I went to my dear friend Sunni's wedding. Her grandpa officiated the ceremony & it was the most precious thing ever! I may or may not have cried the entire time it was so precious. I love you Sunni & wish you & Josh all the happiness in the world!!!
Sawyer stayed with his J-Pa & Dee while we went to the wedding, so afterwards, we took advantage and went on a little date! We had an early evening dinner at Bravo! and then did some shopping in the Promenade. We then spent some more time hanging out on the patio & roasted marshmallows when we went to pick baby boo up :)
.........
Over the past week or so, Sawyer has become quite the rollie polie! Long gone are the days of lying him on the sofa or the ottoman. I've been putting him on a pallet in the living room floor but he is able to get around pretty good now & works his way off of it & on to the hard, cold tile...which he is NOT a fan of. So, when we are in the kitchen/living room area, little man has to be in the walker or my new favorite accessory, the high chair/booster seat deal that straps onto our kitchen chair. I really do love it & so does Sawyer! He can see everything that's going on and play with his toys on the tray.
We finally got the flower bed out front finished over the last couple of weeks. I love, love, love our summer plants! It's so fun watching everything grow & multiply each year. Blake takes such good care to make sure everything is watered & fertilized. By the end of the season, we usually have a ton of banana trees, elephant ears, & cannas to give away or plant elsewhere the next year. This year, I added a little color with the red & white petunias :)
Blake also planted a Japanese Maple his mom gave us this year!
I hope you're all having a great week....if not this sweet smiling face will surely cheer you up!! ;)
