I've got some MAJOR updating to do here. Get comfortable.
The week following Mother's Day, I was off work on Thurs/Fri to celebrate mine & Blake's 4 year wedding anniversary. We had originally planned to go out of town for a night or two but some things came up & we never made any reservations so we just stayed home to enjoy a long weekend. I'm so thankful we didn't go out of town though! Let me explain...
Thursday the 17th was our actual anniversary & we went out for a sushi dinner date. We had a very nice time out together while Sawyer stayed with Mema & Papaw. About 11:30 Thursday night, I got a call from my Nana, she said my mom was at her house, had extremely high blood pressure & was having pain in her arms & chest. I knew my mom was having a heart attack so I immediately got in the car & went to get her. I did not want her going to our local hospital for cardiac care, so I drove her, along with my sister, to the ER at Baptist. I literally drove 90-100mph, with my gas gauge on E all the way to the hospital. Its funny now, but that seemed like the longest drive ever! My sister & I prayed the whole time - one of us praying for our mom & the other praying that we didn't run out of gas! Luckily we made it & after a brief confrontation with the admissions staff in the ER (they were arguing with another patients family member rather than checking my mom in & when I told them whatever they were arguing about could wait until later, they told me to "calm down"), & security (he told my sister that I couldn't boss people around just because I worked there) my mom was finally getting the care she needed! We spent the rest of the night in the ER where lab work confirmed that my mom had indeed had a heart attack. She was admitted to the hospital for additional tests, which thankfully, all came back normal. We are so happy that she is feeling better. We love her SO SO much!!

On Saturday the 19th, a local western store had their annual customer appreciation day cookout. They had craw fish, bbq & beer, country bands & door prizes. We go every year & it is always so much fun!
Last year, I was 3 months pregnant @ this event. It was so fun having this little guy dancing to the music with us this year!

We also did a lot of eating that weekend too!
On Sunday night, we went to watch the fireworks in Little Rock. We kind of thought Sawyer might freak out from the noise, but he was so good! His eyes were glued to the sky the entire time!
He loves fireworks just like his momma :)

Last Friday night, we went to Amber's birthday party. Sawyer got to hang out with his lady baby friends Payton & Bailey & the newest baby girl, Sweet Ava!
Sawyer looks so big next to these pretty, petite baby girls!
These two had a moment...
SO SWEET!!
Playing footsie :)

I got lazy with the camera & didn't take any further pictures the entire weekend, but last Saturday, my friends from work & I had what we called a "VAD Team Building Exercise". We went shopping in Conway & had lunch at the Marketplace Grill then that night, grilled out & sipped on peach bellini's & sangria. I'm so thankful for co-workers who are also great friends & that we are able to enjoy each other at work & away from the office too!

This weekend has been very uneventful & I LOVED it! Its so nice not having anything to do sometimes! My sisters Jamie & Brandy, Jamie's bf Quin, my niece Ginger, & my Nana came over to play dominoes...we only played 2 rounds of Mexican Train before the party poopers (Blake & Quin) decided they didn't like that game & quit. So, we built domino trains instead! Ha!
Sawyer looked at Auto Trader with Uncle Q...
Then laid on a pallet with his sisters :)
